Why Dental Branding Is Impotant For Dentist?

How do we choose to buy one product or another? On the one hand, we try to choose budget-friendly versions that are at the same time healthy. We might even look at the consistency of it. But on the other hand, there are many products we really don’t know much about, so we tend to rely more on the information we get from the outside sources. Take dental products for example. We do not know what is good for us when it comes to toothpaste or orthodontic products and the only information we have about them is what our friends, people we know and sometimes our dentists tell us. Usually, we rely even more on our instincts and choose the considering brands and advertisements we saw. Now we see how important dental branding can be, especially for a business like dentistry.

What is branding at all? We all hear this term every day, in every situation and we all know that it is something connected to marketing, but what exactly is branding is often vague and unclear. Do not get confused. Branding is using your products to create a vivid image of your brand for costumers. The important thing here is that “vivid image.” Think about branding this way, costumers should think about what you want them to immediately as they see your logo. How to accomplish this goal in dental branding? Here are some tips:
  • Plan: ask yourself some questions you would ask if you were a costumer. Why is this product better than others? How is it different? How do I feel when I look at it? Who are my opponents? How can I reach consumers’ hearts?
  • Personality: after you have a plan in your head, it’s time to start the action. This is the key point for a successful dental branding. Create a personality! Thinking about most dental brands, they don’t have any personality, that is why people never remember them. We have already mentioned that you should reach their hearts and not minds, that is the way people will remember your brand more. So, what do you want people to feel when they look at your brand logo? What stories do you want them to remember? Think about your brand as a person with some qualities and stories to tell. Do you want it to be associated with laughter and smiles, or with joy, friends and family? Maybe you want it to be more sentimental and touching? It is entirely up to you!
  • Logo: next step is to create a logo. It should show your brands specialty and also somehow be associated with the qualities you are going to show people. For creating an amazing logo, use appropriate colors and figures. Colorful things catch our eyes easier. Alongside with the logo, you might want to create a slogan that everyone will remember. Avoid changing your logo and slogan, because it will confuse people and they will find it harder to stick to the brand’s personality.
